Founder, The Joyful Activists

We curate holistic virtual wellbeing workshops to care for the emotional and physical wellbeing of activists, charity people and humanitarians. We design and deliver bespoke workshops for charities and NGOs on mental health, joy and wellbeing at work.

Partnerships Officer, Plan International UK

Convening the Girls' Rights Collective UK, a network of organisations, academics and activists working in gender equality across the girls’ sector in the UK.

Delegate, UN Women UK

Representing UN Women UK as a delegate at the annual United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in New York.

Consultant, Bloss and Bndle

Consultant offering 1:1 support to parents, families and young people on pregnancy, parenting, challenging behaviour, understanding trauma and dealing with loss and bereavement.

Consultant, Doulas Without Borders

Providing strategic and operational guidance to grow Doulas Without Borders as a national CIC, including volunteer and referrals management, safeguarding and training. Doulas Without Borders offers accessible, grassroots services to women and childbearing people experiencing multiple disadvantage and financial hardship during pregnancy, birth and early parenthood.

Little Bean Doula

Pregnancy, birth and postnatal doula for private clients across London, alongside volunteering as a doula with Doulas Without Borders, supporting women and birthing people in challenging circumstances.

2020 - 2021

Consultant, SHE Zimbabwe

Working with a small team in the UK and Zimbabwe to found an educational initiative working in two areas of rural Zimbabwe to remove the barriers facing girls when accessing education.

Thrive Lead, Queen's College London

Creating and leading pastoral initiatives for pupils aged 11-18, including Anti-Bullying Ambassadors, Peer Mentoring and LGBTQ+ society. Designing and teaching wellbeing lessons on Resilience.

Lead Practitioner, Mentoring Plus

Commission Lead for an Early Help service supporting children aged 7-21 facing significant challenges, training adult volunteers as mentors, designing and leading inspiring youth activity programmes, line management of practitioners and youth workers.

Leading a youth programme for young people aged 13-18 who had been affected by domestic violence and abuse.

2015

Intern, Daraja Academy Kenya

Daraja Academy is a secondary school in rural Kenya offering education to girls who would not be otherwise able to complete their education. I lived there for six months offering pastoral and wellbeing initiatives to pupils.

Senior Assistant Programme Manager, The Challenge

Preparing and delivering National Citizen Service (NCS) residential youth programmes for 15-17 year olds, grounded in outdoor education, social actions projects and campaigning.

Curriculum lead, assessor and tutor for Apprenticeships in Early Years and Playwork Awards, Certificates and Diplomas, teaching both learners aged 16-18 and adults.
